John is the perfect combination of creativity, professionalism, enthusiasm and passion. He knows how to elevate story with the work that he does and is a wonderful collaborator. From our very first meeting, John was able to understand the direction we wanted to take our film and his work supported that. John was a pleasure to work with on every level and I feel lucky to have worked with him on my last film and look forward to working with him in the future.

I have had the pleasure to get to know John Baldofsky as a student in my Audio Arts courses. He has also acted as a teaching assistant in the SUNY Oneonta audio arts program, helping to oversee the studios, and participate in departmental recordings. John has consistently shown a self-motivation and attention to detail that has set him apart from the other students in the program. John has been active in extra curricular activities, and has been handling the booking and sound reinforcement needs of a local off campus music venue. John has distinguished himself as one of the most qualified students in the Audio Arts minor, and is one of the first students that I turn to for assistance in recording and live sound when I need the job to be done right. He has always performed each and every task assigned with attention to detail, promptness, and always puts in the extra effort that results in the difference between good sound and great sound. In addition to John’s knowledge and experience I have found that he continues to be open to new experiences, and he enjoys working with others in the studio. Of the hundreds of students that I have worked with in the SUNY Oneonta Audio Arts program John stands out as one of the best that I have worked with.
